I originally started working out at the Boot camp Guy in November 2010 when my mom started working out there. I loved the versatility of the classes and instructors. Unfortunately, my hectic schedule of work, grad school, and an internship kept me from working out the way I really wanted to. I just wasn’t able to commit to working out until things slowed down in the spring of 2011. It was then that I realized I needed to get in shape for my best friend’s wedding that was fast approaching. My mom insisted that I try on my bridesmaid’s dress and it didn’t fit at all. That was a harsh reality check for me. From April 1st to June 15th I watched my calorie intake and worked out at the boot camp guy at least 4 times a week. I would take one kickboxing, one boot camp, and two spin classes every week for 6 weeks. To my surprise the week of the wedding my dress fit perfectly! No alterations needed! I was so pleased to have lost so many inches and really begin to lose fat and tone muscles in my body. I kicked the summer off with an abundance of energy and a commitment to eating well and working out faithfully. I still have some goals I would like to meet, but I am proof that The Boot Camp Guy program really works!
